What is Philosophy? Where does it come from?

Well first of all, this modern and complex worst - "Philosophy" first originated from the Ancient Greeks. The Greeks were the first to practice 'philosophy', which carries the meaning 'Love of Wisdom".

Below is an Image of Some big History makers.
(I will discuss this further in a new post)

Philosophy is a discipline that exercises reason and logic in
an attempt to understand reality and answer questions about knowledge, life, morality and human nature.
Questions similar to the following:-
What is life?
What is the meaning/purpose of life?

Does God exist?
What created this world?

I am sure you could think of many more also.

Someone who Practices Philosophy is known and called a 'Philosopher'.

Philosophers endeavour to answer such questions through what is called the "Philosophical method". This usually begins with a Philosopher examining his own beliefs and begins to doubt their validity. From this, questions arise. Although, Before answering a question, the Philosopher thoroughly analyzes and examines it to ensure it is clearly and properly defined. This allows the Philosopher to carefully construct the most precise answer.
